What is an HOA?

The Homeowner’s association (HOA) is the governing group that handles homeowner satisfaction and harmony. Every homeowner is a member of the HOA and remains a member for the enter time they own their townhome. Each owner is allowed one vote. Cornerstone community is managed by an outside company called HG Management (formerly BRC Community Management). Customer service representatives from HG Management attend meetings, along with homeowners and the governing board of the HOA. Homeowners are notified of all meetings and are encouraged to attend. Each officer of the HOA board serves for one year.
The HOA is responsible for the management of the community and monthly dues of $210 cover the following:
Maintenance, repair, replacement, and improvement of all common areas including:
  • Decks and patios
  • Recreational areas (including all community amenities)
  • Parking areas
  • Outdoor areas
Access to, and maintenance of, the exercise facility, swimming pool, spa, state-of-the-art clubhouse and business center.
  • Garbage removal and recycle
  • Landscape preservation
  • Parking lot and street maintenance
  • Property and liability insurance
  • Snow removal
  • Exterior building maintenance (siding, roof)
